Under Tension | Photo-series with Handover Studio
In collaboration with Handover Studios, Under Tension is a photo series exploring the construction behind our Spring Summer collection by placing each garment under physical tension to reveal the structure beneath the surface. Rather than presenting the pieces in a conventional way, the garments are pulled from multiple points, exposing seam lines, panel work, pocket structure, and reinforcement details that are usually only noticed in motion. By suspending the clothing in this way, the balance between flexibility and strength becomes more visible, showing how each design is built to hold its shape without restricting movement.

The series brings together the Tuba Polartec® Alpha Direct Jacket, Field Shirt, and Stinger Jacket, each chosen for the way their construction responds when placed under pressure. The Tuba Jacket, built with a translucent technical polyester outer and insulated with Polartec® Alpha Direct fleece, reveals its volume and internal structure when suspended, with the pocket layout and panel work holding form while remaining lightweight. The Field Shirt, made from crinkled technical fabric, shows a more subtle kind of engineering, where clean lines, reinforced seams, and balanced pocket placement allow the garment to keep its silhouette while still moving naturally. The Stinger Jacket, constructed from lightweight ripstop with a water-resistant finish, exposes the precision of its build when pulled under tension, with ventilation details, reinforced areas, and adjustable elements working together to keep the shape controlled without feeling rigid.

Across the series, tension becomes a way of showing what normally sits beneath the surface. Removing the body from the equation shifts the focus entirely onto the construction itself, turning each piece into a study of shape, movement, and technical design, and highlighting the thinking behind garments made to perform while maintaining a clean, modern form.
